WHY CHOOSE THE WALKING DOG?
We are a small local pet care business fully licensed and insured with over 25 years of experience in the veterinary industry. You will not get a stranger on the internet coming into your home to care for your pet. The Walking Dog comes recommended by veterinary hospitals and other pet care professionals in the area that have known our team members for some time. With our parent company VetMedics, you can rest assured knowing that in the event of a medical emergency, your pet will be able to receive emergency transport and care by our NYS Licensed Veterinary Technicians.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?
Currently we provide pet care services in Beacon, Cold Spring, Fishkill, Wappingers, Chelsea and parts of Hopewell Junction.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?
Our office is open from 8am-6pm Monday through Friday and 8am-1pm Saturdays. We offer in home visits for pet sitting between the hours of 7:30am-8pm seven days a week.
HOW CAN I BOOK YOUR SERVICES?
By calling our office, we can schedule your FREE Meet n Greet. Upon meeting we will provide you a link to our pet sitting software so that you can create your own profile for your pets and request one of our many services.
DO YOU PROVIDE CARE FOR PETS OTHER THAN CATS AND DOGS?
Whether furred, feathered or scaled, we love and care for them all! However we do not provide care for farm animals such as cattle, sheep and horses.
